How Lawckin works

Lawckin is a directory of independent lawyers. Clients search by practice area and location, see the consultation price the lawyer set, and request a time. Lawckin is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

For clients

  1. Search. Browse verified lawyers by practice area and location.
  2. Compare. Open a profile to read the bio, practice areas, and the consultation price that lawyer set.
  3. Book. Request a consultation time. The lawyer confirms the appointment.

Find a lawyer

For attorneys

  1. Create your profile. Add practice areas, bar admissions, languages, a bio, and consultation details.
  2. Get verified. Lawckin checks bar admission before the profile goes live.
  3. Set price and availability. You decide when you take consultations and what they cost.
  4. Receive the inquiry. A client who contacts you through your profile is contacting only you. Lawckin does not resell that inquiry.

Common questions

Does booking on Lawckin create an attorney-client relationship?

No. Sending a booking request or message does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. The lawyer decides whether to accept the consultation.

How does an attorney join?

Create a profile, add practice areas and bar admissions, and set a consultation price and availability. Lawckin checks bar admission before a profile goes live. Listing is free while attorneys are being onboarded.

Where do I see a lawyer's price?

On the lawyer's profile. Each lawyer sets their own consultation price. Lawckin does not publish one price for every lawyer in a practice area.
